Our Barber Program prepares students for the PA State Board of Barber Licensing Exam. This program focuses on equipping students with fundamental barbering skills. It also teaches the value of high-quality service, etiquette, creativity, and business acumen. Students learn through a combination of theoretical and practical training and must accumulate 1,250 hours of training for graduation.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Through this program, we train licensed cosmetologists in all aspects of barbering so that they will pass the Pennsylvania State Board Exam. Students learn a skill set needed to perform all client services, including haircuts, shaves, and facials.
Upon completion of the course, the graduate should possess the required knowledge and skills to pass the Pennsylvania State Board of Barber Examiners examination and gain entry level employment in the barbering profession. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the student shall be able to perform all barbering services including regular haircuts, style haircuts, shaves, facials and advanced design techniques with entry level professional barbering abilities.
